Leupega “Clevent” Kovati – Cultural Advisor

Founder and Director of The Samoan Cultural Village in Apia, Western Samoa, Leupega is a highly respected culture bearer and teacher in the community. Clevent manages the center, staff and community land and he also curates exhibitions and cultural events. He designs the cultural center’s curriculum and themes for educational talks and Q&A’s. He attended The Center for Samoan Studies at The National University of Samoa and contributes to their radio station Samoa Beat. A passionate advocate of Samoan rights and human rights, he belongs to a local humanitarian group known as OLP OLE Palemia.
