Jonathan Smilowitz - Editor

Born and raised in Long Island, Jonathan Smilowitz is a video editor currently residing in Colorado. After attending school at Hofstra University, Jonathan started working at various news outlets, including MSNBC, CNCB, New York 1 New and News 12 Long Island. Jonathan eventually moved to the West Coast in pursuit of transitioning into entertainment television, preferably a sitcom. This led to 7 years of work on the “The Bold and the Beautiful” and earning himself 2 Daytime Emmy’s for “Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing for a Dramatic Series”.

In Pursuit of landing his desired work on a situational comedy, Jonathan turned to learning how to become a stand-up comedian. His meteoric rise in the stand-up comedy field peaked as a bottom tier unpaid comedian, despite performing at The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, The Ice House and many more venues across the West coast. This lack of success in Los Angeles led him to Las Vegas where he thought that there weren’t as many funny people.
